The Grand Illusion

1. What is this ‘I’ (Subject)?

The ‘I’ existing in each and every Living Beings is the Subject. Even though the Subject seems to vary in Individuals in terms of ‘Subjective Consciousness’, it is nothing but part of the ‘Universal Consciousness’ which is a Single Non Local Phenomena. The Subject is Permanent, Immutable and Eternal.

2. What are Objects?

All except the ‘Subject’ are Objects. In fact, your body, and mind are also Objects. The trees, animals, stars, moons, galaxies, Universe, your relatives, friends etc are also Objects. All Objects are Local Phenomena, Temporary and are subject to Creation and Dissolution. All Objects are Impermanent.

3. What is True ‘I’?

The True ‘I’ is Formless, Nameless, Eternal, Non-Local Existence beyond Space and Time. ‘Consciousness’ is termed as ‘True -I’ which can not be subject to Creation and Dissolution. The ‘I’ (Consciousness) is Permanent, Eternal and a Non Local Phenomena.

4. What is the Relation between ‘I’ and my Body?

The ‘I’ (Consciousness) is Formless, Deathless, Uncreated, Eternal, Unborn, Singular entity. A singular Entity also means that it is beyond Existential as well as Non-Existential criteria. Existential is never Singular. The moment Existence is enabled Duality arises and Multiplicity becomes its offshoot. This ‘I’ (Consciousness) can never be subject to Birth and Death. Consciousness is beyond the scope of Birth and Death.

The ‘I’ (Body) is a Temporary, Corporal, and Manifestation is temporarily associated with Consciousness. This ‘I’ (Body and Mind) is fully subject to Birth and Death.

Everyone one of us is Eternal in terms of Consciousness (Subject) and Purely Temporary in terms of our Body and Mind (Object).

5. What is this Subject – Object Illusion and Confusion?

There is no Confusion. Understand the following Facts:

i)            The ‘Subject’ is independent of the ‘Object’. That is ‘Consciousness’ is independent of ‘Body and Mind’

ii)         The ‘Subject’ (Consciousness) can never Vanish whereas the ‘Object’ ( Body and Mind) can Vanish.

iii)      For the ‘Object’ (All Material things in the Universe) to exist ‘Subject’ (Consciousness) must Exist.

iv)      The ‘Subject’ (Consciousness) is Eternal. Consciousness is beyond Space and Time.

6. Who am I?

‘Consciousness’ is the Real ‘I’ (Subject). My Body and Mind are Temporary ‘I’ (Object) .We are so engrossed with our Body and Mind that we confuse Body and Mind as the Real ‘I’.

7. What is the Universe?

Universe is a Grand Illusion created by the Mind for the sake of mere Enjoyment as a Hide and Seek Game. No mind means no Universe. When the Mind is born Universe is simultaneously Born. When the Mind is thwarted and annihilated, immediately the Universe vanishes. But the ‘Consciousness’ can never be thwarted or annihilated. Consciousness WAS, IS and WILL always exist.

8. What is the Purpose of my Existence?

Existence is merely a Game, a Play, a Drama and a Great Joke. Life is not even a School to Learn. We have nothing to Learn. When one realizes the Truth behind Existence one can not even contain Laughing for a whole Life Time. There is nothing to be so serious about Existence once you realize the Truth behind Existence.

9. Is God and I are different?

Ultimately God and I are not different. The disillusioned ‘I’ feels itself separated from ‘God’. When the illusion vanishes everyone will realize that God and I are nothing but one and the same.

10. Is You, I, and Everything else are different?

No. The disillusion ‘I‘ finds You, I and Everything as different. All are one and the same seemingly appearing as different for the Mind. All are the one and the same single stuff called ‘Consciousness’

11. Is there Death for Me and everything else?

No. Death is only for Body and Mind, not for the ‘Consciousness’. ‘I’ is beyond the scope of Birth and Death. In fact, truly speaking nothing exists apart from the ‘I’. ‘I’ (Consciousness) is everything in disguise.

12. Do I have Re-birth ?

Strictly speaking the ‘I’ is never Born. So it can never die. In the Ocean of Consciousness ones Birth and Death are mere tactical plays. It is like getting up from yet another dream after a night sleep. The continuity of one’s Samskaras are carried over death to birth for evolution purposes. Birth and Death are mere mile stones on the journey of evolution.

13. Is there Karma?

Karma is a necessity mechanism in the Universe and is governed by irrefutable Laws. Everything in the Universe is governed by unerring laws. The cosmic law is unbiased and never erring.

14. What is Fate and Free Will?

If we have Free will we will always chose our Thoughts, Feelings, Emotions and Actions. The fact that we cannot choose these very much proves that our Free Will is not absolute. More often, we have been guided by our Sub Conscious Mind and many of our actions are ordered by the Store House (Sub Conscious Mind) augers well that the Free Will we enjoy is almost illusory.

The question of Fate and Destiny also prove wrong. Fate and Destiny also do not exist. All happenings in the Universe are Spontaneous and occur at this very moment. The universe is being spontaneously created every moment. This means nothing is pre-determined.

Even though we assume that one is performing action on ones own, every individual’s action is the result of multitude of circumstantial reasons.

In fact, the entire Universe is nothing but a single organism wherein an individual’s action is always constrained.

Hence, Fate, Destiny and Free Will are all illusory. What is supposed to happen is spontaneous in nature and as per the laws of the Universe. Fate and Free Will can be better reconstituted by the words Cause and Effect.

In the words of Albert Einstein, you can will, but you cannot will your will.

15. You say there is Karma. But you say there is no Fate and Free Will. Is it not Contradictory?

Karma is a Law. As you sow so you reap. If you have Free will you supersede the Karma with your Free will. Karma and Free Will can not Co-exist. Even the Free Will we enjoy is bound within the Karma.

16. Is there Heaven and Hell?

Hell and Heaven are mere mental phenomena. They don’t exist beyond the scope of your Mind.

17. I have been a Big Failure in my Life. Why is it so?

Nothing goes waste in existence. Evolution is hastened through facing failures rather than successes. Material Success and Money in Bank Accounts are not the criteria to decide the evolution of one’s soul. The Soul’s agenda is altogether different from Material Success. Every soul has a blue print for evolution. Sufferings opens flood gates to evolution, but not an absolute necessity.

18. What is Enlightenment?

Consciousness alone is Reality. Everything exists within the Consciousness. Nothing exists apart from Consciousness. Realizing and living in this Truth is ‘Enlightenment’.

19. Can I attain Enlightenment through my Will?

No. You can only merely wish. Attaining enlightenment is not reachable through one’s attempts. When one’s evolution is mature enough to be a candidate for enlightenment, one would be never missed or left out.
